Vespa binghami du Buysson, 1905
Rusty brown or pale yellow wasp, rather large sized. Head, thorax and gaster pubescent; with soft erected hiars and usually longer on the gaster. Head : vertex, frons and temple rusty brown, dark brown compound eyes with dark brown ocelli; relative large (compare to another species in this genus), dark brown antennae; clypeus light brown, densely punctate but not very deep and not well defined, posterior side of clypeus with narrow rounded lobes; mandibles brown with dark tooth. Thorax and propodeum rusty brown. Legs rusty brown. Wings fuscous brown, the costal and upper part of the medial cell in the forewing dark brown, tegulae light brown. Gaster rusty brown. Body length 24-30 mm.
